Wagner Community Park

Latest News

In the fall of 2008 we started moving ground for a new multipurpose field.  This area will contain our third ball field and an area for a football field.  This area will require much work to develop and volunteers will be greatly appreciated.  To volunteer you can contact one of the Recreation Board members.  In the future, additional parking by Narrows Road will also be provided.

Park Hours

Dawn to Dusk

Wagner Community Park is located on Paradise Road in Wheatfield Township and originally consisted of 64 acres of land donated to the township on August 13, 1991, by Mildred B. Wagner, in memory of her husband.  The park land was donated to the township with the understanding that it would be developed as a community recreation area for the purposes of outdoor recreation, land conservation/preservation of aesthetic value, protection of natural habitats (fish, wildlife, plants and similar ecosystems) and conducting of educational programs facilitating those purposes.

Park Rules & Info.

Please review the park rules posted by the park entrance.  The park opens at dawn and closes at dusk.  No open fires are permitted and all dogs must be on a leash.  Electricity is available at the pavilion and water is available on the outside of the restroom building.  Please utilize the trash containers provided and remember the park is being created and maintained by volunteers.  It is recommended that if you wish to use the pavilion that you make a reservation.  Dates that the pavilion is reserved will be posted at the Snack Bar.  If you reserve the pavilion for a function the gate may be opened to drive in to unload supplies and to provide access to the handicapped parking.  All others should utilize the parking lot by Paradise Road.
